Next steps

Planning permission for Phase 1 was granted in March 2022.

The development will see the construction of 570 homes within three buildings along the Sean Moore Road. 57 social housing units and a further 86 homes allocated for affordable housing that have been offered to the Department of Housing, in accordance with the Obligations set out in the SDZ, will sit alongside 400sqm of retail space and a new crèche.

Pembroke Beach DAC has appointed Sisk as the main contractor to carry out the construction of this Phase of the Glass Bottle development. Construction commenced in July 2023. The hours of operation for the construction granted in the planning permission are 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm Saturday. Future phases of Glass Bottle will feature an exciting mix of residential, retail, offices, enterprise space, and community facilities. We will continue consulting with our neighbours in local communities and other stakeholders for these phases.
