The Glass Bottle Consortium were delighted to sponsor the inaugural Run Kids Run event last May held at Clanna Gael GAA club.
This year's event will take place at the Irishtown Stadium on September 19th with 12 local primary schools welcomed to join the fun and, at the same time, raise funds to support their schools.
Everyone from junior infants to 6th class, together with parents, careers and teachers will be putting on their trainers and running either 1km or 2km on a day of fun, fitness and fundraising.
Each runner will seek support from friends, family and neighbours, raising funds to enrich the learning experience for every child at their school.
We're delighted to be involved again this year and are looking forward to the event next month.
